I graduated from Trakya University, Faculty of Agriculture, and Department of Soil Science in 1996 as head of the class (department). At the same year, I both started to MS in institute of natural and applied sciences in Trakya University and started to work as research assistant in Trakya University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Soil Science. I assumed title “MSc Engineer” in 1998 and “PhD” in 2004.
I worked as research assistant in Trakya University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Soil Science between 1996 and 2007. I am working as Assistant Professor in Namık Kemal University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition since 2007.
I attended many meetings, courses, seminars, panels, workshops, congress and festivals at home and abroad.
I was assigned to lecture for one week each within the context of Erasmus teaching staff mobility at Trakia Democritus University in Greece in 2011 and at University of Technology and Life Sciences in Poland in 2013.
I was assigned for 3 months between 11 July and 10 October at “the University of Vermont” in Vermont-USA to take a part in a project called “use of soil earthworms in agriculture”. I was invited in November-December 2012 by the same university and attended some scientific collaborative studies in order to carry out projects about “vermicompost and soil earthworms” in the University of Vermont.
I served as project head and researcher in 15 projects supported by Tübitak, Trakya University, Namık Kemal University, Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University, Bilecik Seyh Edebali University and Bozok University Scientific Research Projects Units.
I have 96 articles on soil science, soil ecology, plant nutrition, soil fertility, soil chemistry, soil-water pollution, ecologic agriculture and fertilization topics as research articles and papers presented in domestic and abroad scientific meetings. Also, 8 of them are the articles published in international periodicals cited by international science indexes (SCI).
I won 12 months research scholarship at “The University of Vermont” in Vermont-USA for the second term of 2013 in the context of TUBITAK 2219 International Postdoctoral Research Scholarship Program.
I study the subjects about soil earthworms, vermicompost production from different organic wastes, set up and control of modern vermicompost production plants which are popular subjects all around the world recently.

Dr Som Pal Baliyan was born on January 1, 1968 in India. He obtained degrees of Doctor of Education (D.Ed.) in Educational Management, Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Research and Evaluation, Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Measurement and Evaluation, Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Agricultural Economics and, Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Agriculture Honours. Currently, Mr. Baliyan is a faculty member in the Department of Agricultural Economics, Education and Extension at Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, Gaborone, Botswana (Southern Africa).
Dr Baliyan has 20 years of international experience in teaching and research. Apart from serving agricultural and educational sector in his mother country, he has been serving the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Agriculture in the Republic of Botswana since year 2000. He has authored two books, three theses and twenty five peer reviewed research papers. He has presented research articles in more than half a dozen international conferences. He has been a member of reviewer and editorial boards for more than a dozen of peer reviewed research journals.
Dr Baliyan has served as a Part-Time Tutor/Marker/Writer/Editor at the Botswana College of Distance and Open Learning and, the University of Botswana for several years. He has been engaged as an external examiner/moderator with various higher education institutions. He is affiliated with professional organisations/associations namely; African Association of Agricultural Economists, Athens Institute for Education and Research, Botswana Educational Research Association, International Society of Horticultural Science, University of Cambridge International Examinations.
Dr Baliyan is a self motivated, self disciplined and dedicated professional with a passion of reading, teaching and research. He aims to impart his multidisciplinary knowledge and skill to the stakeholders in the field of agriculture, economics and education through teaching and research and thus; contribute to the development of the society.

Dr. Muhammad Yaseen is working as Lecturer in Department of Agricultural Extension & Rural Development, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Sargodha Pakistan and engaged in teaching, academic research and outreach extension activities. Also working as resource person/trainer for various training and academic activities conducted at In-service Agricultural Training Institute, Sargodha, Rawalpindi and Allama Iqbal Open University, Islamabad. Completed his PhD in 2016 in Agricultural Information Management from Agricultural Information Institute of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Beijing China. Previously he worked as Instructor in Agri. Training Institute of Department of Agriculture, Government of the Punjab, Pakistan and coordinated In-Service trainings for Extension Field Staff including District officer Agri. (Extension), Deputy District officer Agri. (Extension) and Agri. Officer (Extension) etc. Also worked as Visiting Lecturer in Department of Agric. Extension, PMAS Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi, and spent significant time at National Rural Support Program and worked on community development/ social mobilization and capacity building of rural farmer communities. Also worked as trainer on volunteer basis at Technology Transfer Institute of NARC Islamabad. He completed his M.Sc. (Hons.) Agricultural Extension in 2005 and B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture in 2003 from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad Pakistan.

Dr Garba Saleh obtained his Nigeria Certificate in Education, (N.C.E.) Agric Sc. (Double Major) in the year 1993 from Kano State College of Education, Kumbotso, and Bachelor of Science (Education) Agric Education in the year 2000 from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He also obtained his M.Sc. (Animal Science) in the year 2010 from Bayero University, Kano and PhD Animal Nutrition in the year 2015 from University of Agriculture, Makurdi, Nigeria. He works for several years as a teacher of Agricultural Science in many Secondary Schools of Kano State. The author is registered member with the Nigerian Institute of Animal Science (NIAS) as an Associate Animal Scientist (AAS), Member, Nigerian Society for Animal Production (MNSAP), Member, Nigeria Association of Vocational and Technical Educators (NAVTED) and also Member, Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (MTRCN). He is currently the Head, Agricultural Education Department, Federal College of Education (Tech) Bichi, Kano State, Nigeria.
