Yousif Elhassaneen (YE) is a Professor and Head Department of Nutrition and Food Science and Ex-Dean Faculty of Home Economics (2009-2015) of Minoufiya University (MU). Research fields' interest of YE includes food science, human nutrition, functional foods, food chemistry/biochemistry, food Analysis, food biotechnology, food toxicology, food quality control systems, agro and food industry by-products/wastes management etc. PI and/or I in 13 National research projects, refereed 9 International research projects, active member in 17 Scientific Societies, membership in 32 scientific & University committees and Civil Society Organizations, Editor-in-Chief and Editor in 36 international Scientific peer-reviewed Journals, Chairman and reporter/coordinator in organizing committees of 69 conference and Symposiums, and attendance as speaker in 104 international and national conferences. YE got 21 training courses in USA, UK, Egypt etc., refereed 255 papers/articles published in the peer-reviewed International & National Journals and Proceedings of the International/National Conferences. Also, YE have been Member of Minoufiya University Council since 2009. YE have postdoctoral fellows in Applied Biochemistry, Plymouth University, UK, 2003. For M.Sc. and Ph.D. thesis, YE have supervised 129 theses offered, Defense committee of 189 theses offered and Committee supervision in 35 theses in progress in food science, human nutrition, nursing, food biotechnology, agricultural sciences, biochemistry, public health etc. YE have reviewed 245 papers for International peer-reviewed Journals.YE authored more than 120 papers and have contributed in more than 10 books in the field of Therapeutic Nutrition and Food Science. Nutrition and Food Science: Therapeutic Nutrition & Dietitian, Phytochemicals and human nutrition, carcinogens and toxic compounds in foods, cancer and human nutrition, using of phytochemicals in food/drug industries applications (Functional foods), food industries development (dehydration, freezing, snacks, meat, sugar etc.), Food Quality Control Systems (QCS) and Quality Assurance (QA) including ISO, HACCP, GAP etc., Food Safety, Sustainable solutions for agro and food processing waste/by-products management and therapeutic nutrition.
Biotechnology: animal cell culture techniques development as in vitro biological model system, biosynthesis of macromolecules in vitro, cytotoxicity & genotoxicity assessment development in vitro, and bioremoval/ biodegradation of toxic and carcinogenic substances in food as affected by industrial process.
Biochemistry: Chromatography: HPLC system designer for separation and determination of the trace compounds in food, environmental and biological fluids samples up to subpicomole amount, novel techniques in food analysis (Chromatography, Spectrophotometry, etc.), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons: sources,  toxicity, carcinogenicity, biotransformation in liver cells by using HPLC techniques, chromatographic determination in food, water & environmental samples.

Biography: Full professor of pharmacy (bromatology – food and human nutrition, Polish President nomination – 2011) at the Jagiellonian University Medical College (Krakow, Poland), in the Faculty of Health Sciences (since 2012 Vice-Dean for Degree and Scientific Development), Institute of Public Health, Head of the Human Nutrition Department. Lecturer - students of public health, nursing, midwifery, rescue, physiotherapy, biology, chemistry; subjects: chemistry, nutrition, dietetic, hygienic, safety of chemicals, international health care. The supervisor 351 bachelor’s and master’s theses and 12 PhD students.

Dr. Vijaykumar Kore completed his PhD in Post Harvest Management of Horticultural Crops. During his MSc he worked on Influence of waxing on shelf life of guava. In this work, he found that the low concentration of carnauba wax was very effective against bio-chemical and organoleptic characteristics of the fruit. During PhD, he worked on two fruits i.e. Litchi and Pummelo. For litchi, he had work on postharvest management aspect, storage aspect and processing aspect. He found that the higher concentration of glutathione along with citric acid and packaging materials gave good result during storage. Regarding pummelo fruit, he worked on removing bitter principles from the fruit.

Prof.(Dr.) John David is a vibrant university professor in SHIATS University, Allahabad(INDIA), in the field of Food and Dairy Technology, having a teaching experience of 23 years. He is a passionate research worker having more than 150 research publications in his credit. Prof. David has guided 50 M.Sc / M.Tech and 15 Ph.D. theses. He is a first class post graduate in Dairy Technology, Seed Technology and Business Administration. He has a flair for writing technical books and already written 7 books of national and international repute in the field of Food and Dairy Technology. Prof. David participated in many national and international conferences and presented research papers. He is an expert in Business Administration too. Prof. David is a regular examiner in number of universities namely, Allahabad Central University, PUSA Agricultural University, Indira Gandhi Agricultural University, Bihar Agricultural University, Chitrakoot University, U.P. Rajarshi Tandon University etc. An orator having proficiency in 10 different languages and a versatile expert for Food and Dairy Technology in All India Radio and Television(Door Darshan) programmes. He is a life member of several professional bodies like, IDA, DTSI, BRS, AGRO-BIOS, Intensive Agriculture and Progressive Research Journal etc. Several of his articles appeared in Hindustan Times, Times of India and other Indian dailies. Prof. David held many post of recognition like Registrar, Chairman, Editor and Research Coordinator in several committees of university. He is an international speaker for Food-Nutrition and obesity and presented paper at New York, San Francisco, Las Vegas, San Diego and Shanghai. Prof. David is Editorial Board Member of International journal of  Food Engineering and Journal of Modern Agricultural Science & Technology, New York. He has been bestowed with Young Scientist award in the year 2006 for his excellent research in the field of Food and Dairy Technology. In the year 2014, he has been honoured with “National Pride” (Rashtriya Gaurav) and “Gem of Education” (Shiksha Ratan) award. In the year 2015, he has been awarded with “Best Educationist”, “Golden Citizen”, “National Pride of Education” (Rashtriya Vidya Gaurav) and “Bharat Vidya Vibhushan” award for his distinguished service to the nation in educational field. He has been awarded as   “BEST UNIVERSITY TEACHER” by Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) in 2014-15.

Dr. Muharrem INCE received his Ph.D. degree in analytical chemistry at Firat University, Turkey in 2008.  He worked as a research analytical chemist in Science Education Department at Mus Alparslan University, Turkey from 2009 to 2012 as assistant professor. He has been working at Munzur University since 2012. From 2013-2016, he served as a Head of Department of Chemical Engineering at the Munzur University, Turkey. He becomes as an Editorial Board member of the International Journal of Pure and Applied Sciences since 2015. Currently, He is an Associate professor at Munzur University, Turkey. Biography

Dr Iqbal is a graduate in Science with a strong academic and research record. He did his initial degrees from The University of Agriculture, Peshawar with Gold Medal.  He was the first Pakistani, awarded with VLIR fellowship by Belgian Government for M.Sc. in Food Science. He did his Masters from two best Universities of Belgium, University of Gent and Katholic University of Leuven with distinction. He was also the first ever Pakistani, who got DHPA award by UK-Government for PhD. He completed his Ph.D. and Postdoc at the University of Edinburgh and joined Science and Advice for Scottish Agriculture (SASA), UK in 2010. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Agriculture and a Visiting Scientist at Chinese Academy of Tropical Agricultural Sciences (CATAS), China.

Biography

Dr. Blanca Aguilar Uscanga is Biochemical Engineer in Food, has a Masters in Food Science (1991-1994), graduated from the Institute Technologic of Veracruz (ITV). She completed his doctoral studies in the specialty of Biotechnology in the National Institute of the Sciences Appliqués of Toulouse in France (1999-2003).
She is currently research professor and full time at the University of Guadalajara in the Centro Universitario de Ciencias Exactas e Ingenierías (CUCEI). The Dr. Aguilar, also teaches courses to the students in Pharmaceutical chemist and the Doctorate of Biotechnology Processes.
She belongs to the National System of Researchers in Mexico level 1, recognized by CONACYT. The research areas in which it working is: Food Biotechnology and Industrial Microbiology, which cover different lines of research such as: Obtaining bioactive compounds and metabolites of industrial importance, for the fermentative via, for the production and development of functional foods, fermented beverages, prebiotics, probiotics and food safety.
COLLABORATION.
Dr. Aguilar Uscanga works in collaboration with various national institutions in México, such as the Technological Institute of Veracruz, Technological Institute of Tepic, Technological Institute of Tierra Blanca and ITSM Querétaro. Also has international collaboration with Institute Armand Frappier, Laval and Institute of Nutraceuticals and Functional Foods (INAF) in Quebec Canada.

Was born in 1971 in Konya-Ereğli (Turkey). He completed his middle and high school education at İvriz Teacher High School in Konya Province (Turkey). He graduated from the Veterinary Faculty of Ankara University in 1993. In 1993, he started to work as Research Assistant in Yüzüncü Yıl University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Food Hygiene and Technology. In 1999, he completed Ph.D. degree with a doctorate dissertation thesis entitled "Isolatıon and Identification of Lactic Acid Bacteries from the Herby Cheese Microflora and Detection of the Starter Cultures Which Can Be Used in this Cheese Making". In 2004, he started to work as Assistant Professor in Yüzüncü Yıl University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Food Hygiene and Technology. In 2013, he started to work at Yüzüncü Yıl University, Veterinary Faculty, Food Hygiene and Technology Department with the title of "Associate Professor" in the field of Veterinary Food Hygiene and Technology. He is still working as academic staff at Yüzüncü Yıl University, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Food Hygiene and Technology. He works especially in food microbiology and food chemistry and teaches at undergraduate and graduate levels. He is married and has four children.

More than four years worked in International Centre for Agricultural Research in Dry Areas (ICARDA-CGIAR), as Project Manager of the Date Palm Project in the GCC countries 10 years Expert, Head of Laboratory & Senior Researcher in Food Processing, 15 years University teaching, researching and supervising ten MSc students and one PhD, 3 years Assistant in food technology, organic and food chemistry labs in addition to 20 years private and governmental sector consultancy in Food Technology and Safety with wide experience in Food processing lab operations , using and maintaining sophisticated instrumentation such as IR,FT- IR, GC, GC-MS,HPLC,LC-MS, spectrophotometers, quality measurements etc. Research, Working and Consultancy areas include diverse food processing machinery and unit of operations, food analysis, monitoring and quality control, natural products chemistry, food contamination; Dates post harvest handling and processing, and biologically active compounds. Registered patent rewarded with first price. Highlights of the latter experience include project management, resource mobilization, leadership on date palm and food research, operational matters, strong partnership with the NARS, collaboration with national associations and organizations and external partners. In addition, achieved important studies regard the dates processing and dates derived products for the Royal Court-one million date palm project and contribute to the feasibility studies of major date processing compound by the Ministry of Agriculture a Fisheries. German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) that given exclusively for excellent students who goes through peer selection process sponsored my postgraduate study.
