An Egyptian, Foreign Faculty Professor (FFP) in Environmental Hydrology, University of Engineering and Technology, (UET), Taxila, Pakistan and ex. Advisor in water resources Sahara and Sahel Observatory (OSS),Tunisia(2006-2009).Before joining OSS he was the chairman of Siting and Environment Dept. and Nuclear Safety Division Director in Egyptian Atomic Energy Authority. He has joined both of Paris-6 University, France and Stockholm University,Sweden as a research fellow.
Prof. Dr Samir Al-Gamal is the author on over 50 journal articles and has written 18 reports, 5 book chapters and presented over 30 conference papers. Since his first journal publication in 1981, Prof.Dr Samir Al-Gamal research papers have been cited over 50 times, according to Anchor Science Citation Index 2009.
Prof. Dr. Samir Al-Gamal is a member of the Editorial Board of the following Internationally known, peer review Journals, J. Hydrology, J. of water resources and Environmental Engineering, African Journal for Geosciences and J. of Scientific Research and Review.

Prof. Mohamed Gomaa, leader of the geophysical exploration laboratory of the National Research Centre. He serves as an Associate Research Professor at Geophysical Sciences department. He holds his M. Sc. and Ph. D from Cairo University. He also covered various significant roles. In 2004, he shared in establishing the Egyptian Society of Applied Petrophysics (ESAP). He is one of the organizing board and technical committee of nine international conferences. He shared in founding the Central internet unit of National Research Centre (NRC). He was nominated to teach four courses for Geophysics and geology departments at faculty of science, Helwan University and Faculty of Girls, Ain-Shams University.
Prof. Gomaa devoted his research to the attempt to forward and inverse modeling, interpretation of electrical properties of rocks and minerals. He has a chapter in Horizons in Earth Science Research.
He served as an editorial board member for Journal of Physics and Astronomy Research, Standard Journal of Petroleum and Gas Exploration, Journal of Physics and Astronomy Research, Interlink Continental Journal of Social Science and Humanities, Global Scholars Journal of Geology and Mining Research and Global Advanced Research Journal of Geology and Mining Research. Also, he served as an associate editor of the Basic Research Journal of Engineering Innovation, reviewer editor of International Research Journal of Geology and Mining, associate editor of Journal of Petroleum and Gas Exploration Research, and desktop reviewer of the International Union for Conservation of Nature of the World Heritage nominations. He is a reviewer of about 74 scientific papers.
His outstanding scientific career was awarded the Egyptian State incentive award (Egypt) in Geological Sciences from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (2010). In 2013 he was awarded the scientific excellence award from the National Research Centre, Egypt.

Dr. Mokhles K. Azer was born in Assiut, Egypt in 1972. He graduated his B.Sc. in science from Assiut University in 1994, Egypt. He worked as geologist in Assiut University and trained in the projects of Natural Resources. He obtained a Fellowship Grant from Academy of Scientific Research and Technology, Egypt and obtained his M.Sc. from Cairo University in 2000. He obtained his PhD from Cairo University in the Neoproterozoic volcanics of Egypt, in 2004. He did his postdoctoral studies at the National Research Centre Egypt with cooperation with many scientists from different countries (USA, Japan, Sweden, Finland, Canada and Australia). He worked as assistant professor in the field of Mineralogy and Petrology of igneous and metamorphic rocks since 2009 until now.
Dr. Mokhles K. Azer worked in many intentional and local projects as principal investigator, co-principal investigator and member. The projects were concerning the evaluation of some rocks and ores to be used in constructions and industry. He used several of tools to investigate the origin and evolution of the Neoproterozoic rocks in the Arabian-Nubian Shield and their economic significance. He participated in many internal projects in the National Research Centre which concerning the evaluation of some rocks and ores to be used in constructions and industry. He obtained many grants for his scientific researches to study the Neoproterozoic ophiolites in the Eastern Desert of Egypt as well as the intrusive carbonate-albitite complex in Southern Sinai, Egypt. The grants were supported by the US National Science Foundation and NSF-OCE under the US-Egypt Joint Fund Program. He presented his works in many international and local conferences as well as published must of his works in the international journals with high Impact Factors.
He awarded many prizes due to his outstanding contributions to the geology of Egypt, such as: (1) National Research Centre award for the geological Sciences 2007, (2) EREX company prize 2010, (3) prize of the best paper during the 49 Annual Meeting of Geological Society of Egypt 2011, (4) State Incentive Award in Basic Science (geology) in year 2011, and (5) Misr El-Kheir Foundation Award of scientific publications published in the world's most prestigious scientific journals in 2012.
Dr. Mokhles K. Azer organized and participated in many local and international workshops which funded by foreign international agencies to correlate the geology of Egypt, especially the Red Sea region, with those of other countries. These workshops were focused on the Neoproterozoic basement evolution of Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, in order to better understand this critical period in Earth history. He performed many international training courses in the National Research Centre-Egypt for the international scientists in the field of Geology.
He taught at several international training programs in the field of geology, especially for cadres of Tajikistan, Commonwealth countries and Armenia. He served as a reviewer for many international journals in the field of Earth Sciences (e.g. International Journal of Earth Sciences, Lithos, Precambrian Research, American Journal of Science, Central European Journal of Geosciences, Journal of African Earth Science, Journal of Geology and Mining Research, Journal of Oceanography and Marine Science, Egyptian Journal of Remote Sensing and Space Sciences, APCBEES, Arabian Journal of Geosciences, Journal of Geology and Geophysics, Journal of Asian Earth Sciences). He presented many Scientific Programs in the Egyptian TV, especially in the scientific channel (e.g. Higher Education Channel, Nile Culture, Nile TV, Dream, Channel 2 and Manara TV). He is a professional membership in many international and local societies.
Dr. Mokhles K. Azer traveled several times to abroad (China, Norway, Jordan and Saudi Arabia) to participate in some international conferences and workshops. Dr. Mokhles K. Azer published 53 papers and abstracts. The papers are published in the most prestigious scientific journals in the field of Geology

Nuclear Medicine Department in the years 1984-1985 at Hacettepe University, Radiation Physics and Radioisotope Laboratories has participated in the creation work. Rosario García Giménez has a PhD in Chemistry, in Legal History and in Physical Geography. She is currently director of the Department of Geology and Geochemistry at the Faculty of Sciences of the Autonomous University of Madrid (Spain); Director of the courses on Gemology and diamond and Professor of Geology for students of Biology, Chemistry and Environmental Science at the same university. She specializes in XRD, SEM/EDX and Polarization optical microscopy.
She is a legal expert and has participated in courses on ancient pottery, being a member of the Committee of Experts on the Society for the Study of Ancient Pottery in Hispania and member of the Science and Technology Heritage Conservation (Tecnoheritage). She is the co-ordinator of the research group Applied Geochemistry Clays, Cements and ceramics.

I am working as Professor of Economic Geology at University of Jammu and at present also working as Head, Department of Geology, University of Jammu since 2016.
After completing Ph.D. (Applied Geology) from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad in 1990, I served different organizations like Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, Dehradun, and University of Rajasthan, Jaipur in different capacities before finally joining University of Jammu as Assistant Professor. I have more than 27 years of Teaching and Research experience in the field of Ore Geology, Mineral Exploration, Mining Geology, Fluid Inclusions and Geochemistry. In recent years I have also developed an interest in the Himalayan Cryosphare and having a research project in this area. Apart from the academic experience, I have about 4 years of University administrative experience.
My main area of research work involves genesis of hydrothermal mineral deposits with the help of fluid inclusion and geochemical techniqueTungsten and rare matal deposits associated with acid magmatism are of special interest to me.

Xue-Ming (Eric) Yang, Ph.D., P.Geo., has been trained and practised as an Economic Geologist both in China and Canada. He worked as a faculty member in the University of Science and Technology of China for ten years and as an Exploration Geologist for few mining companies including INCO (now Vale) for seven years. Eric joined the Manitoba Geological Survey in June 2011 as a Mineral Deposit Geologist, investigating geology and metallogeny of various ore deposits via geological mapping, lithogeochemistry, petrology, and GIS analysis to provide fundamental knowledge of geosciences for mining industry, academia and the public, and to facilitate sustainable development of mineral resources in an environmentally friendly manner. He currently serves as Chairperson of Mineral Deposit Division (2013-2014), Geological Association of Canada.
