Dr Joseph Awange is currently a Curtin Research Fellow. He was awarded a merit scholarship by the German Academic Exchange Program (DAAD), which facilitated his obtaining a second MSc. degree and Ph.D in Geodesy at Stuttgart University (Germany). Later, Joseph was awarded the prestigious Japan Society for Promotion of Science (JSPS) Fellowship to pursue postdoctoral research in environmental monitoring at Kyoto University (Japan). Currently, Joseph serves as a freelance editor of Springer-Verlag publishers in Earth Sciences. He is also on Editorial board member of The Open Atmospheric Science Journal. Joseph is a member of the International Association of Geodesy, the American Geophysical Union (AGU), and Lake Net (Living Lakes).
His areas of research include application of GPS, GRACE and CHAMP satellites to monitor stored water, tropopause warming and other impacts of climatic change. His other research interest includes Mathematical Geodesy, Robust statistics and Multidimensional Scaling.

He completed Ph.D. level in Biosystem Engineering area of Namık Kemal University and M.S. Level in Selçuk University, Department of Agricultural Structures and Irrigation in Turkey. He worked as a research assistant in Namık Kemal University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Biosystem Engineering (2008-2013). He served as project head and researcher in 18 projects supported by Namık Kemal University, Bilecik Seyh Edebali University, Siirt University and The University of Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli, Scientific Research Projects Units. Dr. Alaguraja Palanichamy is currently working as a Post Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Geography, School of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences in Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. His area of specialization is in the field of Climatology and Water Resources, using Geospatial Technology. He has awarded Dr. S. Radhakrishan Post Doctorate Fellowship in October 2015 by UGC. He also awarded DST Inspire Fellow for Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) in 2011-2013 by Department of Science & Technology (DST) Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, New Delhi. He was also Awarded Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship (RGNF) in 2010 by University Grants Commission (UGC) New Delhi.He had done his Ph.D. Degree in 2013 under the guidance of Dr. M. Manivel in Bharathidasan University. He was secured 84.77% of marks in M.Tech Programme in Geo Hydro Informatics and GIS, in Bharathidasan University and got University first rank (Gold Medals) with distinction (D++). Hence he was awarded a “Professional Course National Scholarship” sponsored by University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi for tenure of two years (2008 – 2010). He completed his B.Sc., Geography, M.Sc., Applied Geography in the Department of Geography, Government Arts College (Autonomous) Bharathiyar University, Coimbatore in the year (2003 – 2006 & 2006 – 2008). He has presented research papers in 15 International and 50 National level seminars and conferences. He has published one book, Rainfall and Groundwater Reliability for Cropping Using Geospatial Techniques” Publisher: Archers & Elevators Publishing House, Bangalore,India (2016 Further, he was attended 6 training programmes in his core area of research. Although his areal specialty is in South Asia, he has conducted research on tornadoes, flash floods, blizzards, forest fires, and hurricanes in the United States. Dr. Paul received fellowships and grants from many external sources. He has published more than 140 papers including 80 in refereed journals. He is currently Book Review Editor of the Professional Geographer and Editor of the Special Publications of the National Council for Geographic Education

In the past he was in charging of the Azerbaijan National Aerospace Agency activities as an Acting Director General. Rustam B. Rustamov has mainly specialized in space instrumentation and remote sensing and GIS technology. He has graduated PhD at the Russian Physical-Technical Institute (S. Petersburg). Rustam B. Rustamov was invited for the work at the European Space Agency within the Framework of the United Nations Program on Space Applications at the European Space Research and Technology Center, The Netherlands. Rustam B. Rustamov has appointed for the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs Action Teams (member, Vienna, Austria), United Nations Economical and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (national focal point, Thailand), International Astronautical Federation (Federation’s contact, France), Resent Advances in Space Technologies International Conference Program Committee (member, Turkey). He is an author of 11 books published by the Europe and United States famous publishers and more than 100 scientific papers.
