I completed my senior secondary (Xth) from Boys’ town Public school, Nasik in 1990 with First class Distinction (79%) Maharastra State Board followed by Higher Secondary (12Th) at Colvin Taluquadr’s College, Lucknow with First class in UP Board in 1992. I have completed my graduation in1998 in forestry as gold medallist from pioneer Agriculture University, GBPUAT, Pantnagar followed by post graduation in 2000 from another important university, Tamilndau Agricultural University, Coimbatore through ICAR Junior research Fellowship and then NET in Forestry. I received doctoral degree from Pioneer institute of forestry in Asia FRI, Dehradun in 2004, which become a milestone in my forestry career. All these different schools of forestry enriched my forestry knowledge more deep and specific, which help in teaching specially the advanced courses of forestry. The journey of teaching in forestry start from Private colleges of forestry as Assistant professor when privatization of higher education just started namely, Doon PG College of agriculture and Dolphin PG Institute of Biomedical and Natural Sciences in Dehradun from mid 2003 under HNB Garhwal university, Srinagar Uttarakhand. I significantly contributed in both the new institutes where I engaged in teaching the forestry subjects. In 2005, I shifted to College of Horticulture & Forestry, Jhalawar under Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture & Technology, Udaipur. I tried excel myself besides undergraduate and post graduate teaching to handle research projects besides heading the Department of Forest Products & Utilisation till Feb, 2013. Presently I am working as Associate professor (Silviculture) & Head, Department of Silviculture and Agroforestry, in College of Forestry, Navsari Agricultural University, Navsari Gujarat.

Dr. Dawn C.P. Ambrose was born on November 16,1969; obtained her Ph.D. in 2004 from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore.
She joined ICAR on December 20, 1997 as Scientist (S-1) at NIRJAFT, Kolkata. Her ARS discipline in AS&PE. She is working as Principa Scientist at CIAE-Regional Centre, Coimbatore since 16 August 2004.
Her major area of professional interest is value addition, post harvest handling and packaging, primary processing, development of process technology etc. for horticultural and medicinal crops etc. and transfer of technology under post harvest technology.
Her major professional achievements are in the fields of process development for the production of garlic powder; osmotic dehydration of carrot; development of corrugated fibre board boxes from sisal; minimal processing of oranges; wax coating of guava; design and development of sapota grader; compaction of jute/mesta plants for easy handling and transportation, development of suitable packaging system to enhance the shelf life of fresh curry leaf development of moringa leaf stripper, development of technology for mechanical processing of Moringa leaves, Development of multiplier onion peeler, development of aonla segmentation and deseeder unit, development of package of technology for mechanical processing of banana centre core, minimal processing of Moringa leaves, development of process for banana centre core flour, minimal processing of banana florets, value addition of corn silk, development of pneumatic operated ginger dicer etc.extension activities on popularisation of soy based bakery products through bakers among the urban and rural mass of Coimbatore district and also popularising the sitting type groundnut decorticator among the rural women and self help groups in Coimbatore district, Establishment of turmeric processing unit for rural entrepreneurship, Establishment of millet processing centre in tribal area etc.

Yousif Elhassaneen (YE) is a Professor and Head Department of Nutrition and Food Science and Ex-Dean Faculty of Home Economics (2009-2015) of Minoufiya University (MU). Research fields' interest of YE includes food science, human nutrition, functional foods, food chemistry/biochemistry, food Analysis, food biotechnology, food toxicology, food quality control systems, agro and food industry by-products/wastes management etc. PI and/or I in 13 National research projects, refereed 9 International research projects, active member in 17 Scientific Societies, membership in 32 scientific & University committees and Civil Society Organizations, Editor-in-Chief and Editor in 36 international Scientific peer-reviewed Journals, Chairman and reporter/coordinator in organizing committees of 69 conference and Symposiums, and attendance as speaker in 104 international and national conferences. YE got 21 training courses in USA, UK, Egypt etc., refereed 255 papers/articles published in the peer-reviewed International & National Journals and Proceedings of the International/National Conferences. Also, YE have been Member of Minoufiya University Council since 2009. YE have postdoctoral fellows in Applied Biochemistry, Plymouth University, UK, 2003.
